June 27, 2018 Day
267
Last night felt amazing for we had all the windows in the RV
open and a cool breeze made its’ way inside.
It also rained on and off throughout the night making it one of the best
ways to go to sleep. When morning showed
its’ face I continued to lay in bed for a little while longer until we both
were awake. After having some coffee and
one of the breakfast sandwiches I had made we took a walk down to the
creek. Upon coming back to the RV we
attempted to do a workout; however, it began to rain so we had to move it under
the canopy and then mud was flying everywhere, it was crazy humid and I was not
feeling it at all! We pushed through though.
Inside we showered and had lunch and then both of us decided
to take a nap which turned into a three-hour nap which felt so good. It was a perfect day for a nap too with it
raining outside one minute and sunny the next.
Waking up from our nap we had a snack and decided to hike 1.7 miles and
see the fire tower which had a great view of all the surrounding mountains and
valleys. Back at the camper I made us a
shake and once again Jason got a fire going while I started in on dinner. The evening was truly relaxing and beautiful
as we sat by the fire drinking and eating a good meal.
