This morning I laid around enjoying the comfort of a big bed and sleeping in without the worry of needing to get going. During the night, I came to the conclusion I would stay another day and use today to catch up with my blog and some other things I needed internet for.
Once I got out of bed I immediately played music all day long from his Bose speaker while I made some coffee and proceeded to set up my computer at the kitchen table. When I was situated, the process of updating my online blog began and what a process it was. I was a few days behind and so working off of my personal journal I began typing away. What took the longest was going through all my pictures and uploading them to my blog. Around 13:00 I had gotten caught up with my blog and moved on to updating my Excel spreadsheets of all my expenses and organizing my receipts. From there, I moved to organizing all my photos from my phone and my camera on to a USB since my computer ran out of room which doesn't surprise me. I really wanted to acquire a new laptop for my trip but the cost of one was not something I could afford at the time.
When I was finally caught up with my blog, the excel sheets, organizing my photos and contacting my pharmacy it was almost time for Travis to be back home. So with an hour to spare I jumped in the shower and prepared for going out to dinner and drinks tonight. When he arrived home around 19:30 I waited for him to get ready and then we headed out to an Irish pub where I had a delicious spicy chicken sandwich and two porters. From there we drove to the "buffalo bill" dam and went for a walk to work off all the food we devoured. The night was cool but not uncomfortably so and it was nice to walk among the mountains with a somewhat clear sky above and having a good friend to commerce with.
By this point, it was getting late and time to head back to the house so that he could get some rest before work. I have to say that my foot is slowly getting better even though it still hurts to walk on it I just have taken to walking on the side of my foot until it heals. All it is was a huge blister that I had to cut open while we were hiking in Glacier National Park. It does surprise me that it didn't bother me at all while hiking with a huge pack but as soon as it began to heal it started to hurt more. Every day it gets better though and I just try to pay it no mind for it is just a blister and I shall survive haha.
??why the pharmacy?
